Boone County Selected for New Adult High School

Boone County will be the future home of a new adult high school.

Governor Eric Greitens signed a bill to create the program yesterday (Wednesday).

The High Schools will target people without diplomas who are 21 or older and no longer eligible to attend public schools.

The schools will be free of charge, offer free child care, with flexible scheduling offering day and night classes plus counseling to build job skills.
