The identity of the man dead from a gun shot wound in Columbia is being released today (Monday).
The department reports 20 year old Damien Ramon Davis of Columbia was shot in the 2700 Block of Quail Drive on Saturday night and was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
An investigation is ongoing, anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers or the Columbia Police Department.
