Voters in Boone County overwhelmingly passed Proposition 1 in yesterday’s (Tuesday) special election.
86% of voters said yes for a half-penny countywide sales tax that pays for roads, bridges and right of ways.
The tax brought in fourteen million dollars for roads and bridges last year.
