A serious accident in Columbia at Stadium and I-70 Northwest is under investigation.
According to police it happened yesterday (Monday) when a vehicle was going south on Stadium appraching I-70 Northwest in the outside lane, and then was partially in the right turn lane and crashed into a signal light pole.
Police say a 34 year old Boone County man was taken to a hospital with life threatening injuries.
Officers report finding meth in the vehicle.
