The Mexico Bulldogs Boys and Girls Basketball teams will be hosting the Marshall Owls tonight (Tuesday).

The Boys team are looking to go 3-0, while the girl are searching for their first victory of the season.

JV games start at 5pm.

 

The Freshman Basketball Tournament kicked off last (Monday) at the Mexico High School.

The Bulldogs defeated North Callaway 49-23.

Mexico moves on to face Boonville tonight (Tuesday) at 6.

Other games saw Hickman over Hannibal 48-40, Helias defeating Battle 55-39.

And it was Boonville winning 39-23 against Fulton.

 

 

The Mexico Bulldogs 7th grade boys basketball team fell 52-22 on the road against the Hannibal Pirates last (Monday) night.

Coach Louder reports the Hannibal press in the first half gave the team trouble, causing some out of control play, and turnovers.

Andrew Runge led the way with 6 points.

Anthony Shivers had 5.

Ryder Staddie and Jaron Thebeau had 3 points each.

Tyler Thoenen had 2 points, and it was Ty Sims with 1 point.

The team fell to 2-5 and will next play Thursday on the road against Warren County.

 

The Centralia Invitational Tournament is off and running.

The girls started things off it was Macon 51-42 over Salisbury.

North Callaway holds Harrisburg 49-47.

Boonville defeats Hallsville 61-38.

Sturgeon gets the best of Centralia 49-40. In other action South Callaway with a big win over Montgomery County 84-55, and the Moberly girls were victorious over Southern Boone 53 to 35.

 

The Missouri Tigers Men’s time are at home tonight (Tuesday) they host the Miami Redhawks.

Tip off is at 8.

NFL Monday Night Football saw the Pittsburgh Steelers come back to beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20.
