Second Person Seeks to Challenge for Hartzler’s Congressional Seat

Another person will be running to represent Missouri’s Fourth Congressional District currently held by Republican Vicky Hartzler.

Hallie Thompson a resident of Moniteau County announced her candidacy last (Wednesday) night.

Thompson is a 28 year old grad student at the University of Missouri, and if elected would become the youngest representative.

Thompson is seeking the Democratic nomination against Renee Hoagenson, a Columbia Business woman.

Democratic voters will choose between Thompson and Hoagenson in the primaries in August.
