Winter Weather Threat Downgraded

A more northern shift in the winter weather has taken the chance of the forecast of larger amounts of snow fall with it.

The most recent shift will have areas north of highway 24 still possibly seeing 1 to 2 inches of snow this evening.

Areas near I-44 will see the potential for up to 1 inch of snow, and a glaze of ice, making travel dangerous.

Central Missouri likely won’t see much until later in the evening, but as of now this will only be a trace of snow, to just under an inch.

Travel conditions could still be an issue as the ground temperatures are still low.

Use caution on the roadways.
