The search for 2 missing fisherman who did not return home yesterday [Tuesday] has been suspended for the night.
During the search today, a boat was discovered under water, but it has not been confirmed the watercraft belonged to the 2 missing men.
At least 8 Rescue boats went into the waters of the Mississippi River after the fisherman’s truck was found parked at the DuPont Reservation Conservation Area approximately 16 miles south of Hannibal.
More than 30 volunteers and law enforcement officers are also involved in the search.
The last time a cell phone signal was retrieved from one the boaters phones was around 11:15 last night.
The search will resume tomorrow morning with dive teams.
