KXEO Sports Report- Tigers Upset in SEC Tourney, Blues Shut Out, Cards win

The Missouri Tigers Men’s Basketball Team will now wait for selection Sunday to see if they have made the NCAA tournament.

The Tigers were upset and eliminated yesterday (Thursday) by the Georgia Bulldogs 62-60 in the SEC Tournament.

Michael Porter Jr. made only five of 17 shots in his first game back in the lineup.

The Tigers present a resume to the NCAA selection committee of 10-8 in the SEC and 20-12 overall.

 

The St. Louis Blues were shut out by the San Jose Sharks 2-0 last (Thursday) night. Blues goalie Jake Allen put forth a strong performance in the loss stopping 34 of 35 shots against San Jose.

The Blues have fallen to 35-27-5 on the year, finding themselves in 11th place in the Western Conference and four points out of the final wild-card spot.

 

The St. Louis Cardinals evened their Spring Training Record with 5-4 come from behind victory against the Miami Marlins yesterday (Thursday).

The Redbirds scored 3 runs in the seventh and the go ahead run in the eighth inning.

St. Louis takes on the Houston Astros tonight (Friday) with a 5pm start.
