Mexico Public Safety has confirmed the identity of a woman who lost her life in an overnight fire.
Major Brice Mesko says the victim is 84 year old Ruby Hamlett.
Mesko says the blaze appears to have started in the garage in the area of a space heater. Hamlett was in a room adjacent to the garage.
When firefighters arrived at the scene at 12 Elm Tree Drive, flames had already fully engulfed the garage, and were coming out of the back of the house.
