Two men are in custody after an assault in Gasconade County left one person with serious injuries.
The Gasconade County Sheriff’s Office reports they responded to River Road, near Mt. Sterling.
Preliminary investigation revealed the assault, and a description of a vehicle alleged to be involved.
A traffic stop led to the arrest of 2 people.
The victim of the assault was taken by helicopter to an area hospital.
