St. Louis Blues Forward Scottie Upshall is out indefinitely after a crushing collision led to a lacerated left kidney in Saturday’s 6 to nothing loss to the Arizona Coyotes.

Upshall was hospitalized after the game.


The Blues will continue their attempt to reach the postseason as they host the Washington Capitals tonight at 7:00.

The Kansas City Royals are now 0 and 3 in the regular season as they fell to the Detroit Tigers today, 6 to 1.

Starting pitcher, Jason Hammel allowed 5 runs and 7 hits in his 5 innings on the mound.

Royal’s first baseman, Lucas Duda, did not play in today’s game after leaving the field yesterday in the 7th inning with right hamstring tightness.

The Royals will face the Tigers again tomorrow. Jakob Junis will get the start.

The St. Louis Cardinals are celebrating some firsts in today’s 8 to 4 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers.

Winning pitcher, Miles Mikolas got his first major league hit and it was a hard hit homer and Dexter Fowler got his first hit of the regular season, a line drive base hit, and Yairo Munoz got his first major league single.

Jedd Gyorko suffered a strained right hamstring,t hat could land him on the disabled list after an impressive performance at the plate. He went 2 for 2 with a double, an RBI, a hit by pitch and 2 runs scored.

The Cards will take on the Brewers again tomorrow night with Jack Flaherty on the mound.
