Man Involved in High Speed Pursuit in Mexico Identified, Thirteen Arrests Since 2011

The man who took police on a pursuit in Mexico, Missouri Saturday night reportedly has 13 arrests since 2011.

According to Audrain County Sheriff Matt Oller, the pursuit happened around 11:30 when he noticed expired plates on a car being driven erratically on North Clark.


Oller says Travis D. Mcknight fled and members of Mexico Public Safety and the Missouri Highway Patrol joined the pursuit that reached high speeds along residential streets, and it ended with the suspect crashing into another vehicle near Promenade.


He was arrested for DWI, and had been arrested the day before for driving while revoked and bonded out jail.

McKnight remains in the Audrain County Jail pending formal charges.
