The St. Louis Cardinals bats went quiet in 7-1 loss to the Minnesota Twins yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.

The Redbirds got their only run on a homer by Jose Martinez and were swept in the two game series against the Twins.

St. Louis is off day and start a road trip in San Diego against the Padres tomorrow (Thursday) night.

 

The Kansas City Royals offense exploded on the Baltimore Orioles with a 15-7 win.

Baltimore’s starting pitcher Dylan Bundy became the first pitcher in baseball’s modern era to allow four home runs without recording an out.

Kansas City recorded 10 runs in the first inning. MIke Moustakas, Alex Gordon, Jorge Soler, and Salvador Perez all contributed round trippers.

 

The big story in Major League Baseball last night was Seattle Mariners lefty James Paxton throwing a no hitter.

He struck out seven batters and only threw 99 pitches as the Mariners beat the Toronto Blue Jays 5-0.

 

The NBA Western Conference Finals are set.

The Houston Rockets finished off the Utah Jazz 112 to 102. Stephen Curry and The Golden State Warriors took of their business beating the New Orleans Pelicans 113 to 104.

Game 1 of the Western Conference finals between the Warriors and Rockets starts this Friday in Houston.
