The Kansas City Royals defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 5-2 in 10 innings yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.
Royals catcher Drew Butera hit a bases loaded, two run single off Cardinals reliever Bud Norris in the 10th inning to lead the Royals to victory.
Kansas City came into Busch Stadium and took two out three games in the I-70 series.
The Boston Celtics improved to 10-0 at home after defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 96-83 in game 5 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals last (Wednesday) night.
Lebron James led all scorers with 26 points, but the rest of the Cavs shot just 38.5 percent.
Game 6 is tomorrow (Friday) night in Cleveland with the Cavs facing elimination.
