The St. Louis Cardinals lost to the Philadelphia Phillies 6-5 in ten innings last (Monday) night.

Cardinals starter Miles Mikoas gave up four runs and six hits in five innings.

The Cardinals battled back to tie the game, however could not complete the comeback.

Cardinals left fielder Marcell Ozuna dived for and missed a ball with two outs in the 10th inning, allowing the Phillies to rally for the victory.

The Kansas City Royals with a 7-3 loss to the Texas Rangers. Texas Rangers starting pitcher Bartolo Colon made history becoming the pitcher with the most wins in major league history who was born in the Dominican Republic.

Colon recorded his 243rd career win at Kauffman Stadium last (Monday) night.

The Royals have now lost seven in a row.
