Mexico Summer School numbers are in.
Assistant Superintendent Dr. Larry Nelson says number are up this year by 131 students when compared to last year.
349 from the Mexico High School, 284 from the middle school, Hawthorne with 357, and Eugene Field with 322. The total number of students attending were 1312 students compared to 1181 in 2017.
Summer School concluded on Tuesday this week. Dr. Nelson will be the Public Perspectives guest this Saturday morning at 8 am, and will give a complete update on summer school and other happenings in the district.
