Several cuts to Columbia’s public transportation service are being proposed as part of a shrinking budget.

Columbia City Manager Mike Matthes talked about the proposed cuts during a speech yesterday (Friday) morning where he outlined the city’s budget for fiscal year 2019.

One area that Matthes is looking at is raising the paratransit fee from three to four dollars.

Any proposed changes will be looked at further during future city council meetings.
