Suspect In Audrain County Pursuit At Large

The Audrain County Sheriff’s Office is asking residents in the Thompson and Centralia areas to remain vigilant after a suspect fled on foot last night.

The department reports just after 9:30 a Missouri State Trooper attempted a traffic stop on Tanner Spurlock of Paris.

Spurlock fled from the trooper and crashed at the intersection of Audrain County Roads 214 and 217 before fleeing on foot near the Northcutt Wildlife Area.

Spurlock has allegedly been involved in numerous pursuits with law enforcement in the past, and currently has an active felony warrant.

Citizens are asked to lock their doors, remove keys from vehicles, and report anyone on foot in the area to law enforcement or CrimeStoppers.
