Mexico Lady Bulldogs Softball were defeated 3-2 by Helias last (Thursday) night.
Head Coach Keith Louder says it was a face off of two all state pitchers against two good hitting line-ups.
Paytience Lawson-Holman pitched 7 2/3 innings with 10 strikeouts and issued 0 walks.
Reghan Smith was 3-4 with a double.
Aaryn Sampo went 1-3 with a sacrifice bunt.
Hayley Mills was 2-3 with 2 RBI.
And offensively Paytience Lawson-Holman was 2-4.
Mexico improved to 12-4 overall.
