A 39 year old Auxvasse man was sentenced to 4 years in prison after he pleaded guilty in Callaway County Court to possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence on Monday.
Marlon Gonterman admitted he possessed methamphetamine during a traffic stop last April, when he was arrested for driving with a revoked license.
While in custody, Gonterman attempted to hide a small metal box containing the drugs in a seat of the Highway Patrol Trooper’s car.
