A vehicle that ran into the Moberly Library last (Thursday) night causes several buildings in the downtown area to evacuated.
It happened around 6:45 and according to the Moberly Fire Chief a person was driving their vehicle and possibly stepped on the accelerator instead of the break and hit a gas main causing an evacuation in a two block area for safety reasons.
No injuries were reported and Ameren was called into to replace the gas line.
It is unknown if the library will be open today (Friday) according to officials.
