Missouri Governor Mike Parson has created a commission to assist the Missouri State Historical Society in preparing and planning the state’s bicentennial in 2021.
During the last legislative session, the General Assembly appropriated funds for the Historical Society to plan the celebration.
The State Historical Society of Missouri will work with the Missouri Bicentennial Alliance in the development of the plans.
