Mexico Bulldogs Softball Moving On in Sectional Playoffs
The Mexico Bulldogs Softball team are moving onto the quarterfinals of sectional playoffs after defeating the St. Dominic Crusaders 8-1.
The home run crew held session at Gallop Park tonight (Wednesday).
The Lady Dogs got it rolling in the bottom half of the first inning after falling behind 1-0.

Logan Blevins blasted a 2 run dinger, and Mattie Roth hit a solo homer.
Paytience Lawson-Holman hit a 2 run blast in the second inning.
Catcher Abby Oetting sent the ball out of the park in the fifth inning.

Mexico will now host another Sectional Playoff game on Saturday at noon against St. Charles with a trip to the Final Four on the line.
