Nurse That Falsified DeBrodie Documents Surrenders Nursing License
A nurse that entered a guilty plea to health care fraud in August in the case of Carl DeBrodie has surrendered her nursing license.
Forty nine year old Melissa DeLap faces up to 10 years in prison without parole.
As part of the plea she was ordered to surrender her license within six months and is not allowed to renew her license in any state or U.S. territory.
DeLap told police she had seen Carl DeBrodie face-to-face once a month until April when he was found dead and encased in concrete in a storage unit in Fulton.
DeLap had told investigators she had seen him in March, and investigators allege that wasn’t possible because he was already dead.
