Two people with injuries after an accident on Promenade and Olive in Mexico last (Tuesday) night.
According to Mexico Public Safety it happened around 6:52 when a vehicle driven by 19 year old D’von Nunnelly Lue was passing another vehicle and struck it while it was turning.
Police say the occupants of the second vehicle fled the scene prior to their arrival.
19 year old D’von Nunnelly and 20 year old D’milio Nunnelly were taken to the hospital by private vehicle.
A second accident with no injuries is being reported on West Monroe at North Abat.
Mexico Public Safety reports it happened at 5:17 last (Tuesday) night when a vehicle driven by 56 year old Joseph W. Polston pulled out onto West Monroe and failed to yield the right of way to a vehicle driven by 17 year old Payton E. Bledsoe when the collision happened.
