A federal judge has approved the settlement in the death of Carl Debordie yesterday. [Wednesday]
Debrodie’s mother, Carolyn Summers and her sister in law Carol Samson, settled with Second Chance Homes.
Second chance homes was the facility in which DeBrodie lived when he was reported missing on April 17, 2017. His remains were found encased in concrete a week later in a Fulton storage unit.
The settlement does not disclose the amount Summers and Samson will receive, but that it will be paid by the defendant’s insurance company.
