Governor Mike Parson announced Scott Fitzpatrick as the next State Treasurer of Missouri today. [Wednesday]
Fitzpatrick was first elected as state representative at the age of 25 in 2012, and is one of the youngest statewide officials in modern times. He currently serves as the house budge chairman.
In a release, Fitzpatrick said “as State Treasurer, I’ll continue to work each and every day to promote government transparency and efficiency.”
