Mexico Woman Injured In I-70 Crash
A Mexico woman sustained minor injuries in a crash on Interstate 70 Wednesday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the crash occurred when 40 year old Carrie Smith of Mexico was traveling east on I-70 when she lost control and went off the left side of the road and overturned.
Smith’s vehicle then entered the westbound lane of the interstate and hit a vehicle driven by Ash-Shea Lugrand of Fulton.
Smith was taken to University Hospital in Columbia by ambulance.
