Jefferson City Man Arrested After Car Chase, Manhunt
A pursuit in Callaway County early yesterday [Friday] morning resulted in the arrest of a Jefferson City man.
The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office says they were notified just after midnight of a pursuit on Highway 54.
Callaway deputies deployed spike strips on 54 near State Road BB, south of Fulton. A second one was deployed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol near Middle River.
When the vehicle was disabled, 37 year old Michael Miller, allegedly fled on foot.
A ground search was conducted by multiple agencies and the Callaway County K9 unit in the area of Callaway County Road 318.
Miller was located at approximately 6:43 AM along County Road 411, south of Fulton.
He was arrested without incident.
