The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory that will go into effect at 6PM, and will expire at 6AM tomorrow. [Sunday]
Snow and freezing drizzle is expected this evening with a light glaze of ice and up to one inch of snow.
The National Weather Service says it is often difficult to tell when ice begins to form, and it only takes a small amount of wintry precipitation to make roads, bridges, sidewalks and parking lots icy and dangerous.
Travel throughout the evening is not recommended.
