Mexico Schools Looking At Staggering Starts For Next Year

The Mexico School District is continuing to work on the elementary school reconfiguration process planned for next year.

Dr. Zach Templeton reported at tonight’s (Tuesday) board of education meeting they are exploring a staggered start time for the schools starting next year.

Dr. Templeton says if the staggered start is implemented the elementary schools start could stay the same and grades 6-12 may start 30 minutes later.

Dr. Templeton says it is just in the planning stages as of now and they will find out more in the next couple of months.
