Tigers Redshirt junior guard Ronnie Suggs posted a season high 13 points.
The St. Louis Cardinals are shutting down pitcher Carlos Martinez for 2 weeks to build shoulder strength.
Martinez said his shoulder had been bothering him a bit in spring training camp, with some weakness and inflammation.
Cardinals manager Mike Shildt said yesterday (Tuesday) that Martinez won’t throw before being reevaluated on March 5th.
