It’s win or go home as the Mexico Bulldogs boys and girls basketball teams starts district play in Hannibal tonight (Monday).

The Mexico Lady Bulldogs come in as a 5 seed and face the 4th seeded Warrenton Lady Warriors at 7:30.

Then the Mexico Boys a five seed take on the fourth seeded Kirksville Tigers at 9pm.

The 25th ranked Missouri Tigers Women’s Basketball team dropped a tough SEC road game yesterday (Sunday) to Auburn 58-54.

Senior guard Sophie Cunningham led the way for Mizzou scoring 19 points.

The fifth ranked Missouri Tigers Wrestling Team closed out its regular season with a 23-15 win over the 11th ranked Iowa State Cyclones.

Daniel Lewis earned his 47th career pin for Mizzou, which tied him for the second most in school history, behind Ben Askren who had 91 career pins.

John Erneste earned a technical fall over the nations’s number 8 wrestler.

Junior Jaydin Eierman also tallied a pin.

The St. Louis Blues fell to the Minnesota Wild 2-1 in overtime.

Alex Pietrangelo scored on a power play in the third period and Jake Allen made 33 saves for the Blues, who lost just for the second time in their  last 14 games.

The St. Louis Cardinals lost in spring training 12-2 to the Washington Nationals yesterday (Sunday).

Cardinals left fielder Tyler O’Neill jacked his first home run of spring training for the Redbirds in the loss. St. Louis is back at it this afternoon at 12:05 against the Detroit Tigers.
