Longtime Ralls County Conservation Agent Dies

A longtime game warden in Ralls County died on Thursday.

Christopher Cox had been with the Missouri Department of Conservation for over 30 years.

He earned several distinctions including Missouri State Water Patrol Citizen Service Citation in 2004, the National Wildlife Turkey Federation’s Wildlife Law Enforcement Officer of the year in 2001 and the Missouri Department of Conservation Protection Division Outstanding Conservation Agent Award in 2015.

Cox is survived by his wife and son.

Friends and Family are invited to a visitation Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 at the James O’Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal.
