Bill Introduced Requiring Some Missourians To Own AR-15
A bill introduced in the Missouri House of Representatives would require every resident between the ages of 18 and 34 to own at least one AR-15.
The bill is called the “McDaniel Militia Act” and was introduced by Andrew McDaniel.
The bill defines an “AR-15” as any semi-automatic rifle that is modeled on the AR-15 design by AramLite, Inc.
The legislation would apply to everyone who is not prohibited by law or court order from possessing a firearm.
Under the bill, residents could be eligible for a tax credit equal to 75 percent of the cost of the gun.
