Two Charged After Drugs Delivered Through Mail

The Camden County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office filed charges yesterday [Tuesday] against two people accused of using the United States Postal Service to deliver illegal drugs to 3 different locations around Sunrise Beach.

The Camden County Sheriff’s Office says 31 year old Rachel Tapp of Sunrise Beach and 29 year old Danny Ramsey Jr. of Gravois Mills were arrested after the USPS executed a controlled delivery of narcotics to a residence in Sunrise Beach. Search warrants were then served on the other locations connected to the investigation.

Tapp and Ramsey are charged with trafficking of drugs, and two counts each of delivery of a controlled substance.

In addition to the sheriff’s office, the Lake Area Drug Task Force, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Homeland Security and the postal service was involved in the investigation.
