The Fulton Fire Department is reporting the amount of damages caused by an early morning fire at the construction site of the Callaway County Ambulance District is around $474 thousand.
Crews were dispatched to the building at 2614 Tanglewood Way at 5:17 a.m. and found heavy smoke. Flames became visible through the roof shortly after their arrival.
Firefighters were forced to evacuate the building due to the danger of a roof collapse.
Fulton Fire Department investigators and the Missouri State Fire Marshal’s Office determined the blaze was accidental.
