The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office arrested a substitute teacher accused of exchanging pornographic text messages, photographs and videos with a minor student this afternoon. [Friday]
Investigators report 27 year old Ty Michael Gramley of Columbia was taken into custody following an investigation that lasted several weeks.
The student reported she had been sending and receiving sexually explicit material through Facebook Messenger.
The student said she met Gramley while he was working as a substitute teacher at the Madison C-3 School District.
Gramley is being held at the Monroe County Jail on suspicion of possession of child pornography and two counts of furnishing pornographic material to a minor.
