Abortion Bill Passes House, Protesters Removed From Gallery

Protesters against a Missouri bill that would ban abortion past 8 weeks of pregnancy temporarily interrupted debate today. [Friday]

Dozens of abortion-rights supporters were instructed to leave the galleries after chanting “when you lie, people die”.

The bill was approved by the house today, and is now headed to Governor Mike Parson, who is expected to sign it into law.
