Carl Gunnarsson was the hero scoring the game winning goal.
Robert Bortuzzo and Vladimir Tarasenko each added goals in the win.
The series is now tied at 1 game apiece and game 3 moves to St. Louis on Saturday.

Redbirds rookie pitcher Genesis Cabrera made his Major League debut striking out the side on just 11 pitches in the 2nd inning.
Cardinals skipper Mike Shildt says the club has not made an immediate decision as to whether Cabrera will start again next week against the Reds.

Royals right-hander Glenn Sparkman was not in the game for long.
He was ejected after a little more than an inning by the home plate umpire after a changeup hit off the top of White Sox Tim Anderson’s Helmet.
The umpire did not issue a warning and it was the first ejection of Sparkman’s career.
