Large Amount Of Debris At Mark Twain Lake

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Mark Twain Lake are warning boaters of a large amount of debris on the lake due to high water levels.

The debris is creating hazards that are making some areas difficult to maneuver. The debris can also move and fluctuate throughout the day with wind patterns.

Currently, Clarence Cannon Dam is near or at maximum release.

The Corps is advising that boaters stay aware on the water and wear a life jacket on the lake.
