Fulton Police Officer Assaulted By Woman During Arrest
Two arrests are being reported in Fulton yesterday (Sunday) afternoon that involved an assault on a Fulton Police officer.
According to the department an officer tried to stop 26 year old Daniel T. Pittman Jr. just before 3:30 who was driving an ATV on Route F. Police say Pittman Jr. refused to pull over and a short pursuit ensued.
He eventually stopped on Stonemail Drive and was arrested for a Felony Probation warrant with a cash only bond of twenty five thousand dollars.
During the arrest 57 year old Teresa Lee of Fulton reportedly assaulted an officer and then resisted arrest.
Lee was issued a summons and released.
