One Arrested After Barricading Himself In Home
Columbia Police arrested one person yesterday [Friday] after he barricaded himself in a residence in the 3400 block of Zinnia Drive.
Police report officers were called to a domestic disturbance and found a female victim with superficial injuries. She told police the suspect, identified as 26 year old Timothy David Rottet, had displayed a knife and was inside the residence.
The SWAT and Crisis Negotiation teams were called in to convince Rottet to turn himself in.
He was arrested for domestic assault, felonious restraint, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance and armed criminal action.
