McMillan Renamed at Board Of Education Meeting
The Mexico Board of Education voted to change the name of McMillan Elementary to McMillan Early Learning Center.
The decision was based to more accurately depict the age the building serves going into the first year of the reconfiguration of the elementary schools in the district.
McMillan will house all the Pre-K and Kindergarten student enrolled in the Mexico School District.
The board also recognized 4 teachers who achieved a Masters Degree recently. They are Kathrynn Isaacson, Taylor Walters, Phoebe Frazer and Tracy Higgins.
