Hall of Fame weekend will be getting underway in St. Louis starting tomorrow (Friday).
Three Redbirds will be inducted into the Cardinals Hall Fame that include Scott Rolen, Jason Isringhausen, and Mort Cooper.
Plenty of Cardinals greats will also be in town for the event, that will feature a Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at ball Park Village on Saturday afternoon at 3.
The event is free and open to the public.
It was a rain shortened 5-3 loss for the St. Louis Cardinals against the Milwaukee Brewers at Busch Stadium last (Wednesday) night.
The game was called after a one hour, six minute rain delay that began in the middle of the 8th inning.
With the loss the Redbirds fell out of first place and now sit a half game behind the Chicago Cubs who defeated the San Francisco Giants 12-11.
The Kansas City Royals with an 8-1 loss to the Baltimore Orioles.
Royals starting pitcher Mike Montgomery allowed a career high three homers in the loss.
Kansas City’s only offense came by a solo home run by Whit Merrifield, his 15th of the year.
