Mexico Public Safety Report For 9/4/19

POLICE LIGHTS

CALLS FOR SERVICE:

Mexico Public Safety responded to the following calls for service yesterday:

A natural gas odor on West Boulevard.

A stealing or theft on North Washington and at Ozark Place.

A stolen vehicle at South Clark.

Shots fired on South Morris.

CAR ACCIDENTS:

A 2 car accident reported on Agricultural and East Promenade last (Tuesday) night.

It happened when a vehicle driven by 22 year old Libby M. Mattingly of Mexico was illegally passing a vehicle driven by 33 year old Betsy L. Finley of Vandalia and hit the drivers side.

No injuries reported, both vehicles had damage.
Mexico Public Safety responded to an incident where a vehicle hauling equipment got caught in some power lines on the 600 block of Muldrow yesterday (Tuesday) morning.

It happened just after 10.

The equipment was caught in some power lines at 609 and 613 South Muldrow.

No injuries reported.
