Mexico Girls Softball Team With a Third Place Finish In Battle Tournament

The Mexico girls softball team with a third place finish in the 6th annual War on the Battlefield in Columbia this weekend.
The action started yesterday (Friday) where Mexico went 1-1 losing to Helias 3-0 and then bouncing back with a 15-10 win over the Fulton Hornets.
The Lady Dogs were back on the field early this (morning) and defeated Smith Cotton 14-4.
In the Bulldogs 4th game of the tournament it was a 5-1 loss to Blue Springs South.
Mexico would then play the Battle Spartans and come out on top 12-2 to take home the third place trophy.
Mexico is now 4-2 on the season.
They next play the Kirksville Tigers at home on Tuesday.
