An air-soft gun reportedly found in a students backpack at the Hawthorne Elementary School in Mexico this (Tuesday) morning.
According to a phone call sent out to parents from the principal Melissa Chastain the gun was found before school this (Tuesday) morning and no students were in any danger.
Administrators and the school resource officer resolved the incident according to the district.
