The Missouri Tigers Women’s Basketball opened exhibition play last (Thursday) night with a 94-55 victory over Truman State.

The freshman duo of Aijha Blackwell and Hayley Frank combined for 47 of the Tigers 94 points.

Mizzou will continue with one more exhibition game on Tuesday, before they begin the regular season, as the Tigers face Fontbonne at Mizzou Arena.

The St. Louis Blues with a 5-2 win against the Los Angeles Kings on the road last (Thursday) night.

Brayden Schenn scored 2 goals and Vince Dunn and Alex Pietrangelo each scored a power play goal.

Jordan Binnington with 33 saves.

The Blues did lose forward Vladimir Tarasenko because of an upper-body injury.

He left with 6:01 remaining in the first period after getting tangled up with Kings defenseman Sean Walker on a partial breakaway.

No word on how long Tarasenko will be out.
